Mr. LaValle sprung onto the Miami legal scene in early 2009 from New York City with extensive experience in law, multinational business operations, sales and services, finance, and government. He immediately established a network of relationships in the Magic City as clerk to the Honorable Gill S. Freeman, a Florida Supreme Court nominee who routinely presides over million-dollar disputes as Miami’s only full-time jurist assigned to the Complex Business Litigation Division.

Prior to becoming a founding partner of Zipris LaValle, P.A., Mr. LaValle was named campaign manager and treasurer for Judge Freeman’s successful reelection campaign in Florida’s 11th Judicial Circuit. Mr. LaValle subsequently provided advisory and litigation services to some of South Florida’s most prominent business leaders and corporations at the law firm of Broad and Cassel.

In addition to his extensive experience in Florida legal matters, Mr. LaValle has also practiced in the Northeast, serving as Counsel to the City of Boston Law Department and The Gerber Group, a preeminent international nightlife and restaurant group. He has performed both advisory and litigation roles in matters involving bankruptcy, business and corporate disputes, contracts, construction, employment, finance, licensing, partnerships, real estate, tort and zoning. His extensive legal knowledge and business acumen have been further honed by strategic marketing and sales roles at British Telecom Global Services and Sirius XM Radio.

Mr. LaValle served on the mergers and acquisition management team responsible for driving the integration between multiple sales organizations between British Telecom Global Services and its acquisitions. He also served on the firm’s Global Internal Communications Board and prepared analyses of target companies, sectors and propositions to drive revenue growth and build client relationships. At Sirius XM Radio, Mr. LaValle supervised the Customer Retention Department planning and strategy process for the formulation of market situation assessment, integration of goals and objectives and alternatives for strategic corporate alignment. He was responsible for cross-functional alignment across all departments of the organization. His management and administration of the department’s budget increased from $7M to $35M in three years. He also managed all business and legal matters pertaining to partner relationships at that time.

His deep business and legal knowledge, combined with an MBA in finance, positions Mr. LaValle to assist any business or individual in a range of legal matters — from starting a new business, to reviewing contracts for multi-billion dollar enterprises, to representing clients in dispute in Florida and federal courts. Mr. LaValle is also licensed in New York and Massachusetts.
